Formulating your Philosophy of Education

“Philosophy is vital only when the questions are mine and so with the struggle towards answers”. We have been through with various philosophies and for us future teacher’s we can say that we have our own philosophy of education. In this lesson, I have learned that philosophy of education is very important in teaching. They say that it is the window to the world and the compass to our life. We future teacher’s must have our own philosophy of education and it reflected in our dealings with our students, friends and etc.

I realized that there are some factors when you want to be a teacher, and because of these factors it can help us future teacher’s to perceive our learners. It also came into my mind that being a teacher is not easy, you need to deal with these philosophies everyday and dealing with it with your students is not that easy. But because of these, you will find yourself more consistent in dealing with other people especially in your actions and decisions. 

As a future teacher we must be very sensible in dealing those philosophies of education because you are following your philosophies for your students and it is very useful everyday. We as their teacher can be their inspiration in achieving their success and you as a teacher is the model in achieving their goals and for them to be a good and successful citizens in the future.
