Teaching as your Vocation, Mission and Profession

“ One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings - Carl Jung “. In this lesson I have learned that teaching is not only your vocation, hobby, willingness to teach but teaching is your mission, to share your knowledge to the children and to be their inspiration to be a successful person in the future. Teaching is not a easy profession; you need to dig into one’s child’s mind so that they can absorb the lessons well. They say that being a teacher is the fountain of knowledge and information's that our students can gain from us but for our students we are their hero.

I realized that this mission of being a teacher is not easy; because it is a task that is entrusted to you in this world. It’s the noblest profession that a person have. It maybe tiring but at the end of the day you can see that a child gain a lot of knowledge from you and that is something that no one can take away from you. The feeling of happiness that a teacher may feel when you see that a child gain a lot from you.

As a future teacher, I cannot promise to be a perfect teacher to my students; a teacher who is very smart and have high grades. But I can only promise to them that me as a teacher can give them knowledge, wisdom and lessons in life that they can live for the rest of their lives. I maybe not that good but I will be their friend, adviser and a mother that can give them advises and courage to go on even on the roughest times of their lives.
